Why We Tithe
“A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.” - Leviticus 27:30 (NIV)
All we have belongs to the Lord. The word tithe means “10%.” The Lord has blessed us abundantly and instructs us to trust Him by giving Him the firstfruits of our increase. This is a beautiful and powerful way to demonstrate His lordship in our lives, our trust in Him, and opens the door for His blessing on our finances.
“As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, olive oil, and honey, and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything.” - 2 Chronicles 31:5 (NIV)
Your obedience and generosity through tithes and offerings help us to accomplish the mission God has given us: To make disciples and help them grow strong in the Lord.
Your giving will help us see families grow stronger in faith, and our children grow up to know and love the Lord. It will help us reach the lost within our community and those around the world through global missions.

Why We Give
God is an extravagant giver! He loves us so much that He gave His only Son. We want to be like Him, so we look for ways to give generously to bless others in need.
